Ah, trade deadline day. Christmas, my birthday, free agency. These are all days that when you wake up, you can’t help but feel excited.

I suspect a busy day today. However, it could  go the other direction and nothing really happens.

For Caps fans, the deadline has been more sad then fun over the last few years.

However, this year it will be different. While I don’t expect anything big, we know our team will at least stay intact.

However, the Caps do have a vested interest because of three teams.

Tampa-Boyle and Richards.

It should be an interesting day. And maybe the southeast becomes a lot more easy to play for the Caps.

Who knows.

JP reports that the Boss man will be in town tonight.

Caps are on Versus  tonight.

Big Pete is back in Blue and Burgundy.

Eric from Off Wing gets some New York Times action!

People want Ted to get busy...really busy

Watch out Sedin Twins

Prospal is dealt. Man, I would have done this if I were the Caps. 29 goals for a young dman and a mid pick.

Boyle is staying Tampa

Our first ever poll has been closed.

We asked "Who should play on the first line with Nik and Ovy?"

  • Kozlov won with 30% of the vote.

  • Bondra and Flash tied with second

  • Fehr came in 4th.

Our new poll is up and asks you "What should we do about our goaltending situation ?"
